No, Koh Phangan does not have an airport. The nearest is Koh Samui Airport (USM), about 21 km away — a 15–20 minute taxi to the pier plus a 30–45 minute ferry gets you the rest of the way.
Why there's no airport here
Koh Phangan is smaller and hillier than its neighbour Koh Samui, and there's genuinely never been the flat, developable land near the coast that an airport needs. There's also a cultural angle: a lot of long-term residents and much of the local community actively prefer that Phangan hasn't gone the way of Samui's mass-tourism build-up, and no airport is a meaningful part of why the island still feels more laid-back.

1. Koh Samui Airport (USM) — faster, pricier
21 km from Phangan. Owned and mostly operated by Bangkok Airways, which is why fares run higher than you'd expect for such a short domestic hop — there's limited competition on this route. From the airport: taxi to the pier (15–20 min), then ferry or speedboat to Phangan (30–45 min, 300–500 baht).
2. Surat Thani Airport (URT) — cheaper, slower
On the mainland, roughly 116 km from Phangan. Served by budget carriers (Thai AirAsia, Nok Air, Thai Lion Air), so flights here are usually noticeably cheaper than into Samui. The trade-off is a longer ground journey: taxi or minivan to Don Sak pier (about 1 hour), then a ferry to Phangan (2–2.5 hours).
