🤿 Diving
Phangan is a great base for diving. Nearby — Ang Thong Marine Park and Koh Tao (the best place in Asia to get certified). PADI courses: from 9,000 baht.
🐟 Snorkelling
Best snorkelling — at Haad Salad, Mae Haad and on Ang Thong tours. Mask and fins rental available (150 baht/day).
🚣 Kayaking
Kayaks can be rented at most beaches. Price 200–300 baht/hour. Particularly beautiful among the mangroves at Mae Haad.
🏄 Wakeboarding & Water Skiing
Wake park in Thong Sala — cable system, modern equipment. Rental 500–900 baht/hour.
⛵ Boat Tours
Tours to Ang Thong National Marine Park — an archipelago of 42 islands. Snorkelling, kayaking, hiking. Price 1,500–2,000 baht/person.
Dive centers on Phangan
Most of the island's dive operators are clustered in Chaloklum on the north coast — close to Sail Rock and Ang Thong Marine Park. Each has its own page with courses, trips and location.
