24-hour shops
- 7-Eleven — several locations across the island. Snacks, drinks, basics, ATM. Cards accepted for purchases over 300 baht (+3%).
- Family Mart — similar to 7-Eleven, less common
Supermarkets
- Big C Mini — in Thong Sala. Wide selection of groceries and household goods.
- Makro — wholesale store, cheapest prices. Good for long-term stays.
Markets
- Thong Sala Fresh Market — daily from morning. Fruit, vegetables, seafood.
- Haad Rin Weekend Market — clothes, souvenirs.
- Chaloklum Sunday Walking Street — every Sunday evening (roughly 5–10pm) in the fishing village of Chaloklum, north side of the island. Street food, crafts, live music, a much more local feel than the tourist-facing markets — this is where a lot of residents actually do their Sunday evening.

- Pharmacies — across the island
- Second-hand clothes — Thong Sala
- Souvenirs — at the pier and in Haad Rin
- Alcohol — at 7-Eleven and shops. Not sold after 23:00
