Wat Maduea Wan (Mathura Wararam) — Near Phaeng Waterfall

An easy add-on to a waterfall trip

Wat Maduea Wan (also known as Mathura Wararam) sits right on the western border of Than Sadet National Park, close enough to Phaeng Waterfall that it makes sense to see both in the same trip rather than as separate outings.

It's a quieter, less-visited temple than the island's bigger-name sites — no crowds, no vendors, just a genuinely peaceful stop on the way to or from the waterfall. Worth the short detour if you're already out that way rather than a destination on its own.
